Product Spotlight- Apricot in dark chocolate (Skrīveru)

I found this Skrīveru product on the shelf at an Estonian grocery store, Selver (but they are also sold in other grocery stores).

It caught my eye because it is a Latvian company (neighboring country to Estonia) and the back of the package said it is a recipe that has been passed down through three generations.
Obviously, for a curious girl like me, this sparked huge curiosity. What kind of recipe could this be :D!?

First impression

Packaging – Let’s just say the packaging is nothing fancy- and I like that! It has a kind of classic style. I like that it’s not overly pretentious.

Smell – Smells amazing!

Texture – This is exactly the texture that makes me buy this product over and over!
Usually, dried apricots are dry and bland, but I have no idea what kind of magic the Skrīveru team has worked.
Because ALL of their company dried and chocolate-covered fruits are wonderfully juicy on the inside! I have never experienced anything like this!
So the outside is smooth, high-quality (!!) Belgian dark chocolate, and inside is a soft, juicy, sweet apricot. An amazing combination!

Overall vibe – Melt-in-your-mouth! I highly recommend trying it.
I’ve even converted people who usually hate either dark chocolate or dried apricots :D. That already says something :D.

Ingredients

(Eurasia) apricots 70% (apricots, preservative sulphur dioxide),
dark chocolate – 30% (cocoa mass (dry cocoa solids not less than 50%),
sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier – soy lecithin, natural vanilla flavouring.

In my taste, this qualifies as a high-quality product. I especially love that the chocolate is genuinely good quality.

Taste

I usually can’t handle overly sweet treats that make you want to brush your teeth right away.
This one, however, is a total gem! Just 1-3 pieces and your sweet craving is completely satisfied. Plus, there’s none of that cloying, overly sugary taste.
For me, it’s a perfect 10 out of 10.

What makes this product especially great is the crispy dark chocolate exterior combined with the soft, fresh, juicy apricot inside. Mm-mmm-mmm!

I will just say this: even if you’re not a big fan of apricots or dark chocolate, give this product a chance. It might surprise you.

Personal verdict

This has become one of my special treat products.
I don’t buy it often, but when I do, I savor every bite as if I am tasting a true culinary delight.

I believe this treat will appeal to anyone who enjoys a balance of indulgence and quality, from chocolate lovers to fruit lovers alike.

Final snapshot

Simple ingredients, balanced taste, and something I definitely recommend and will keep buying.
