Let’s make art

A few weeks ago I thought that I haven’t done anything freehand “to splash” in a long time.
My drawings have been more with a brush or pencil in recent years and in a “everything has to be perfect” style.

So I grabbed my acrylic paints and started painting with my fingers. The goal was to approach things outside the box. The messier the better 😄.

As a result, I made this kind of art on paper.

The picture turned out to be beautiful, but some places bothered me because they were overdone, or rather, too much in some places.

Then I took a large A3 paper and thought that I would make a new picture above my bed.
This time I just tried to make dots of paint in the shape of a falling star or a water drop with my fingertip.
The result was this:

I tried the picture above the bed, but I felt like something was missing.
I thought for a moment, okay. What would I want to see in the picture? What should this picture convey or give to me?
Because for me it has always been necessary for the picture to convey something or for the painting to be forward-looking. Like the image depicted moves forward.
A la a view of a larger area from which the path leads forward. Water flowing behind a cliff. Or a large image of a beach with people, etc.
In short, the image has life going on. This is not just a picture of a painted vase or fruits.

Anyway. Then I came up with the idea of making the picture spatial and textured. So that when you look at the painting, it would take you somewhere forward. So the idea of the picture became – reaching a new era.
So, behind the “curtains” there is life with different textures. Flowers, shapes, colors.
I will add the stages of making art here and the final result.

Trust the process

So. Anyone can make art. You can keep your inner child happy in different ways, this idea was only one of several thousand. Allow your inner child to be free and happy.
Try. Endeavor. Experiment.
The goal is not to be perfect. The goal is to feel free and to experiment and laugh.

What was the last thing you did for yourself where you felt that your inner child was definitely happy and happy? Let me know in the comments 😊.

With love,
